If people see you in a certain way, do you feel an unnatural vibe following you around trying to make you act in a way that you disagree with?

I "played along" with the perception that was following me around and there was no profit. If it feels wrong and unnatural and only by being myself (Cis Heterosexual Male who cares) did I ever find profit.

Caring about what other people think or expect was my crutch and now I do not give a shit about anything. If I ever have kids, every single "joyous" moment will be accompanied by "am I prepared to have this used against me" and in every case, that answer is "yes, without regard for their lives".
