Once deputies opened the vehicle to obtain the firearm, a clear zip-lock bag filled with a half-pound of methamphetamine was found in the middle console. There were also four grams of suspected cocaine found.

As deputies proceeded to search the residence, they located a shotgun that had been reported stolen earlier this year from Pearl River County, Mississippi, along with various forms of drug paraphernalia and $29,400 in cash.
