It was a hot day and the poor dog was panting hard and lying around with nothing to keep herself cool. I made sure she had cool water and a little food. My ex put up with not being the center of my attention for all of 5 minutes before she started getting pissy and making bitchy comments. I was only a teen and still kinda naive so this surprised me. I thought she'd be happy to help out an animal. Turns out all of a woman's bullshit beliefs end when they're not getting attention anymore.
