how lucky will you be in each case?
-national guard: relatively comfortable, and you will be kept as a reserve, however if they send you into battle you're gonna be cannon fodder
-chasseur: you're fucked up because you're gonna be in the vanguard being an easy target to the enemy
-line infantry: you're gonna see a lot of action, but since you're in the very bulk of the army and have your flanks covered, you will be still relatively safe
-grenadier: your're fucked up, because you will be covering the flanks and leading the charges
-chasseur a cheval: you're very lucky, because you won't participate directly into battle but couting and pursuiting routing enemies, the enemy light cavalry will be a threat though
-voltigeur: you will be in the flanks and the vanguard, but still safer than the chasseurs
-young guard: you're very fucked up, not only will receive an exhausting training, but will also be sent into the harsher spots of the battlefield whith the command having a very high expectancy of your performance
-cuirassier: you will be very well armored and have a strong horse, but you will also be sent striaght into the carnage vey frequently
-artillery officer: very lucky, you will be in a relatively safe position bombing the fuck out of the enemy, though that's a laborious job
-old guard: you're hardly ever see any action, but if they send you into battle, that means things are getting very bad, also you're expected to fight to your las breath
