If you were able to clear your mind and think critically, objectively you'd see it all makes sense, even more sense than the convoluted "theories" about the Material World and our place in it.
If you could even just begin by recognising Jesus was a person it'd start to make sense. I'm not a Christian but even if I were I think I'd have to acknowledge a lot of what happens in scripture is allegory. That doesn't matter though. What matters is while there may not be one undisputed fact in scripture there is Truth, about Life, about the World, about how our species functions and how best we ought to relate to one another. On one hand the Bible and other holy texts are guides, on the other they are Legendary and Mythical stories which make our story comparable to any great fictional one's like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, but ours is Real.
A great Cosmic power watches over us and has sent messengers to help us when we lose our way. These beings have taken our form and spoke in our tongues so we may relate to and understand them. They have dragged us away from doom and put us back on the right path. They have shattered the illusions and delusions we've come to mistakenly think is *reality* and reoriented us, showing how to be our Selves once more.
You are playing critical role in this legend. We all are. Some of us are pivotal, like Moses or Jesus, but we're all critical to it's unfolding. Without us God wouldn't be able to manifest his Divine Will.
