The key here is that to the average person, flat/globe earth doesnt matter, and space is a mere curiosity.
So when we get flooded with this shit at a mere mention, you have to know it is being done for a specific reason.
Possibilities:
1: creationist christians are very common here since 2016, so this is def one element
