Why have the powers that be banned/censored this topic?
It was gaining huge momentum from 2015 and then Google/YouTube started hardcore censoring it.
Why? If it's so ridiculous and easy to refute, shouldn't it be a good opportunity for a science lesson? After all, isn't science about questioning hypotheses and producing observable evidence and sound arguments? This shit should be trivial. So why couldn't they laugh it off?
Why is "Flat Earth" so politically incorrect? Is it that scientists are the new priesthood, and if people reject scientific cosmology, scientists will lose their social hold on the populace, e.g. vaccines?
What's so scary about flat earth?
