>>15522201The amount of blood loss depends on various factors like where exactly the victim was hit, which organs were injured, the way they faced while being shot, the way they faced after being shot (e.g. lying face down after being shot from the front will cause more blood to spill), or the calibre of the firearm just to name a few.
In this video the victim was shot in the stomach at point blank range, most likely striking the abdominal aorta, which would explain the extreme blood loss that can be seen in the video (in that case, around 5 litres of blood per minute, possibly more). Had he been shot in the intestines or the shoulder there would have been far less bleeding.
Also, pistols "deal more damage" at close range than say an AR-15 would. An AR-15 (just like the vast majority of assault rifles or similar guns) uses 5,56x45mm (.223 Remington) cartriges which are primarily made for speed and penetration (like for ballistic vests), meaning they will simply blow through a person. Pistol ammunition however is only used and optimised for short range. It is far slower than a 5,56 but has a larger and more sluggish projectile so it creates a bigger wound channel as well as causing far more internal injuries and bleeding.
For reference, the clerk in the video probably used Nr 6 or 4 in picrelated while the guy in the "recent mass shooting" (which one exactly anon, the USA has almost as many mass shootings as you have chromosomes) used Nr 13, decide for yourself which one does more damage
