While in other places they'll fuck shit up because of just sheer incompetence they'll dial up the west immediately. In china, the bottom guys lie to middle management who lie to the ones in charge who lie to the one who manufactured the thing, you'll be hired to show up to fix something and it's ENDLESS fucking excuses. I mean, there was one I showed up to and there was a transformer that was fucked up and had holes in it that would perfectly line up with forklift forks....but no, no that couldn't be the problem it must be something else. They didn't need to lie to me, it's not like my company built the thing we just troubleshoot and fix shit. There's no warranty issues or anything like that, I just need to know what happened so I can unfuck something....but no, these fuckers lie then lie again to cover up the first lie then lie again and again and again.
See, the thing you have to understand about china is that lying is as natural a thing to chinks as breathing. In the west we have fables and shit like the boy who cried wolf, but the chinese have fables about how being a clever liar will get you far in life. If you're doing business with the chinese you have to ensure you're getting paid first or that the RIGHT product is delivered before you pay because all they do is scam scam scam. Hell, they aren't even good at lying because there's basically no repercussions for getting caught lying. A chinese degree is worthless, for instance, because cheating is so socially acceptable they OPENLY allow cheating on exams. If you see chang names on a research paper it's pretty much toilet paper.
