>>15538697this really depends. some cats are so cuddly and lovely it can change some peoples opinions on cats, you really just gotta get a nice cat or be nice to the cat because usually they wamt up to familiar people and eventually the cat will start coming to you. however, i also view cats as an important lesson in respect (cant think of a better word) because if they do not want to be pet or touched, they will let you know and they will set a boundary. whereas dogs are more passive, patient and willing to roll over. dogs are great companions as are cats in a different regard. i love going for walks with my dog and being greeted when i come home, it makes me very happy. ive only ever heard of a few cats greeting their owners very happily when they come home. i honestly love both for their own regards. what about you OP?
