there isnt really a reason not to, computers are unfeeling machines that only know how to mash existing data together exactly the way theyre told without any room for putting their own spin on it or having a motive beyond accomplishing a task
theres a lot more to art than that and idk why people are sproking out about dalle so badly just because it makes pictures according to descriptions. yeah itll probably be useful for quickly generating concept pieces and get extensively used for promotional purposes for companies but in a creative sense we care about art because of the technique put into it and the experiences that inspired it and those they give us
