>>15555214only issue i had with maverick was i felt that penny didnt need to be there, the love interest in the first movie was at least integrated into the plot a bit but the new one in maverick was barely relevant and barely there for more than 3 minutes. if they hadnt bothered and just stuck with rooster and the rest of the students it wouldve been just fine
i also think all of the music being orchestral was a bit of a wasted opportunity and a tiny bit generic but they kept the melodies and replicated them very faithfully so it barely mattered much
