I was mercenary in Ukraine for Russian side. I just got home Ask me anything.
Usual questions :
>Why did you join Russian side ?
Money, also I like Russia
>Is it forbidden to choose Russia if you live in EU ?
No, it's not like Islamic shit in Syria or Afghanistan. French gov immediately knew for me and they didn't even interrogate me when I got home. It's just frowned upon
>Why did you left the battlefield ?
I was there for 3 months, I think I did what I had to do.
>I thought Russia had banned mercenary
Yes, it's officially prohibited. But yet Wagner Group exists and it's strongly related to Russian gov. Now imagine the hidden part
>Is there a difference between volunteer and mercenary ?
Sure. Volunteer just move to help for whatever the reason (love etc) are usually not paid, mercenaries as me are highly paid and do some coordinated operations with special forces, can do important missions alone (IE without Russian soldiers, only with a team made up of private soldiers)
>Will you return?
It all depends on the news. Now, Russia does not really need private soldiers. The bulk has been done
