Y'know, they spent two decades in Afghanistan and made zero effort to improve oil drilling infrastructure or even twin the Trans-Afghanistan pipeline like everyone said they would. I'm beginning to think the whole "war for oil" thing was either just media hysteria as usual or a diversion from what they were actually after.
