Unpopular opinion: people wanna beat up women not because they enjoy hurting them but because they crave to see women rising up from a beating and refusing to give in to it.

The plain sight of seeing a bruised and damaged woman take that beating glisters of bravery and hopefulness in their eyes both turn us on and elevate a level of appreciation we never knew we would be able to feel.
