>>15615073In EE, we did the following math courses: linear algebra, Calc 1,2,3, ode, pde, discrete math (logic, proofs, etc), statistics, numerical, complex analysis and those were just the math classes. In a few other classes which were not strictly math classes, we learned about signal processing, which involved fourier series/transform and laplace transform both continuous and discrete, modulation, etc., control systems theory, and personally since i've been in telecom, a lot of weird math that is quite frankly only used in that specific field. I disagree that the math is harder in mechanical, I can't think of one thing that you guys did that we didn't. I don't even think you need to take a logic class in ME, not that it's a hard class.
