Domestic terrorism can be perpetrated with anything. I’d even dare to say I could do it with just a few chemicals found around my home and my pee (lookup urea nitrate) with more success than you could with an “assault weapon” of any kind.
Terrorism has nothing to do with guns and explosives are the true patricians choice anyways so no you don’t need guns at all to commit domestic terrorism.
Imagine a terrorist attack with an axe and some homemade explosives for crowd control and area denial.
