I was mostly joking. However, at the same time, since the status of gf/bf is specifically a matter of designation, it makes more sense to recognize enbies and trans people in this context than it does when referring to people as men or women

I never believed in this kind of thinking where you boil down relationships into some kind of transaction/trade. Life changes all the time and so do people, the most I can really wish for is someone who'll be by my side for the rest of this life and will show me love and understanding, and I will do the same to them.
