>>15647962Wow a Christian globe earth believer, amazing. It's almost like you don't believe the Bible and can make it up to fit how you believe! Can you please explain using the globe earth model how when according to you, God stopped the rotation of the earth completely for a day and kept it still, that there weren't huge effects on the earth like, buildings falling over or massive tidal waves. Why change what God said? The Bible says the He stopped the sun on Joshua's long day in chapter 10. It's like people don't even read the Bible, you don't even have any good arguments. I get into this debate at Bible studies, never anything to explain these discrepancies.
>Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and He said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.>He said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still>Sun, stand stillNot Earth stopped rotating?? There is a huge difference.
What about King Hezekiah and the sun dial? Explain to me how God stopped the earth from rotating, SPUN IT BACKWARDS, then stopped it and started going again? nobody noticed??? no effects like... momentum? conservation of energy? I really don't understand so please help me. It's not like it's nice to have everyone think your crazy with this stuff when you try and talk about it in real life but I'm still waiting to be convinced otherwise.
