If someone's a junkie or a drunk, we keep sending them to rehab until they stop using drugs, or let them die on the street. It's unacceptable to let them keep using.
If someone's a compulsive gambler, we also send them to rehab. Either that or the mob or gov't comes and kills them or takes them away because they didn't pay their debts.
But if someone's a giant fat ass, we give them praise, love, and care. We label them "disabled". The gov't will pay for all of their living expenses, medications, home health aides and/or visiting nurses, etc. and then we print magazines with obese people on the cover with headlines like "THIS IS HEALTHY!"
I wonder if we'll ever see a People or Cosmopolitan magazine with a pic of a heroin junkie or a meth tweaker covered in scabs and track marks and smiling with a similar caption?

"I have a thyroid problem!"
"I've tried everything to lost weight!"
"Don't judge me!"
"That's fat-phobic"
