>>15663727Oh, Jesus, Jack. How many more of my comments have you stored for later use?
"or say "fuck it" and act as if nothing was wrong".
~~~~~
Let me enhance that. Saying "fuck it"...then moving on "as if nothing was wrong" saved my life. Literally. And...most likely my child's, as well.
Without ever experiencing what I had to endure, you've Absolutely No Idea how 'clever' that little act of 'coping' truly was...do you?
It held true at other times in my life, as well, when escaping "What Is" was not yet in The Cards to be put into motion.
When life circumstances demand that you must to suck it up/stick it out/act as if nothing is wrong until light begins to emerge at the end of a tunnel...you do what you must to survive.
Make no mistake, though. Some of our most brilliant and useful 'counters' are borne from the very pains which created them.
That you'd think this is not 'far off' from "NOT caring anymore" is 100% off.
It was Caring So Much, that you were guided to be extra careful in your actions, lest you opened a Pandora that hurt someone other than yourself...specifically, your precious children....something I absolutely know I've written directly to you in past responses.
Why this is so hard to see this for what it is escapes me.
Trying to use it against me is on you, not me.
