i’m running on a low budget now i pretty much bought everything only desk and chair is left to complete my set up but i want to buy some manga and games with the left over money so i guess i should look for a desk and then depending on how much the desk cost i’ll determine if i should buy a cheap chair or not

there are emulators but this is only if by 'playstation' you mean playstation 1, 2 or 3

you could also pirate the roms and run them on real hardware but i dunno how that works i only use emulators

emulator = computer program that "pretends" to be a game console

rom = file where all the game data is

you download an emulator, download a rom, open the rom inside the emulator, and you can play the game on your computer

Emulation is not really a computer term, it literally means "effort to match or surpass something, typically by imitation."
Here a picture demonstration of mine how to play NES games.
How exactly is that hard to understand? The only thing not pre-installed on Windows you need is 7zip to open compressed folders. Playstation and other console which used discs for their games are a bit harder to set up. But I would rather choose to play a retro multi-platform release on an emulator than trying to get the original PC version running. The hassle of making ancient PC games work isn't worth it, if they can be emulated. But there are some exceptions like The Elder Scrolls Morrowind though.
