She visited me a few months after in my country.
Corona happened, we were "remote" for quite a while - after which she moved to my country.
Probably wouldn't have worked out if it wasn't for the roner.
As for jobs... I could probably get a job as an electrical engineer here, but I'd earn like a third if not a fourth of what I earn in my home country. I can work (normal 8 hours day) In my home country for 2/3rds of a year, keep renting my apartment, spend 1/3rd of the year neeting in Japan living in hotels and so on, only eating out, and I'd still have more money left over than if I worked full time in Japan.
Retirement in Japan, sure. We might, once we're like 40 or something.
