29 years old with 2 kids here. I recently lost my job due to a mental condition that manifested. I gambled away our €50k we had in our bank account and lost it all at the casino. Been living on welfare for a year now while she got a job herself at retail. The thing is the money ain't even enough to buy clothes for the kids. Yesterday she got home from work and we had an argument and I hit her two times. She started crying and I apologized but she told me she doesn't love me anymore and wants a divorce. She said if I accept the divorce she won't press charges for me beating her as long as I let her take the kids. What the fuck should I do right now? I don't think I'll ever be able to get a regular job again due to my mental condition.
