I mean he is? Anyone could get a degree in history bro. He actually wrote a book which I read a bit of. It sucks because he doesnt really know punctuation, and grammer, nor does he know how to not write obscene run on sentances. Something collage probably couldve helped him with. TAS's videos are well made but ultimately worthless.

english grammar / punctuation rules are not really that strict anyway

I guess the problem with it would be that it wouldn't reach the target audience or the makers of anime, they're still well made. At least the ones where he doesn't obsess over some irrelevant anime youtubers too much.
