>>15736432My brother is like this. Carried his ass for years during our 20s while he stayed underemployed and played video games. Eventually he moved onto what he felt would be his niche and so did I in our careers. I finished school and got certified, security cleared etc and started my late 20s with cushy It jobs and really didn't/don't have to think about money anymore. Brother bought a delivery route because the guy convinced him it printed money. Brother huffed too many of his own farts with this "I'm my own boss" shit and just straight up failed to moves product for days on end, would come home with 0 dollar checks regularly and often the company would CHARGE him because they were hemorrhaging money off his stale product (like bread and chips and shit). Years went by like this and I had no choice but to subsidize because I'm an enabling faggot, rent and food mainly but for some occasions I felt bad and gifted him money for things like concerts, whatever. I never saw him out of games though, or junk food like pizza and beer, always new shit, always a new phone, always new anime figures, typical.
This year I declined to update the lease, he supposedly has a gf that will carry him now (camp counselor so I doubt it, he definitely lied to her). He made some comments about being relived to have me gone because I'm "no fun" and always want him to switch jobs and take out trash, so one day after I was good and moved out I returned to the apartment and boosted his video game collection (like walls and walls full of everything from PS1 to DS-3DS, PS4, 260, PS5, games, systems, peripherals etc), his PC, his TVs, I wanted his anime figurines but doubt they'd sell for anything so left them, and sold it all across like 3 different retro game stores. Got like 1600 bucks total, not even close to paying me back but fuck it. Also reverse engineered his Steam account and sold that for another 500. Fuck you Jesse. Piece of shit.
