it's a solid anime with moments of situational comedy, as well as decent action when appropriate.
the dodgeball scene is particularly good as it is a parody of the various tropes found in most battle animes.
it also contains a lot of themes about traditional gender roles within families, and promotes healthy family units overall.
the wife character is strong and independent, but simultaneously submits to her role as a wife and homemaker.
the husband character is a strong male archetype, but he is also shown to be compassionate.
he is described as good-hearted, but imperfect without being overtly humiliated.
there are scenes where he is portrayed as being strong and competent, but just insufficient in a particular role, thats where the wife comes in not to save him, but to support him in a constructive way.
the anime also includes some mild commentary on geopolitics.
overall, I'd say it's a solid 8/10 anime.
good wholesome values and strong archetypes.
the characters are strong, but not perfect, which allows the viewer to understand and empathize with their struggles.
definately will watch the second season when it is released
