>>15752184I suppose I'll share one because there is a point I noticed in it.
In the dream I was in an industrial city, a lot red brick and steel girders. I spent a lot of time exploring this city until I came across two tunnels that were just large enough for a man on his knees to crawl through. It turned out there were four cities connected via this small tunnels: the industrial one, one I couldn't remember, one that looked like an ancient Cambodian city, and a peaceful one. I only glanced at all of them from the tunnels but I only investigated the peaceful one. It was all white and blue and there were very tall pale people living in it. I spied on them from the entrance of the tunnel but I was worried about being discovered. Then a couple of people came through the tunnel as well, they were from the industrial city and they were very noisy. I was worried they would give me away so I ran further into the peaceful city to get away from them. All the while I was in the city I kept thinking of doves.
The thing is I'm not sure if this is my own thoughts or Jung's ramblings influenced me. In his book Psychology and Alchemy he touched upon something called the Lapis and the walled city being a symbol of the Lapis which itself is simply another name for the philosophers stone (the transforming substance). The number 4 as well has meaning in alchemy as the quaternity of Earth, Fire, Wind, Water as well as Greening, Blackening, Yellowing, and Reddening alongside the connection to the trinity (both the Christian trinity and the alchemical trinity.) since it's all part of "squaring the circle" which is the process of making the philosophers stone. Reddening itself is posed to be the final colour seen before the philosopher stone is revealed to the alchemist. Now the four cities are also in line with Jung four types of Thinking, Feeling, Sensation, and Intuition. I want to go on but I have no more characters.
