So I'v been watching the 4chan ban section lately and I'v noticed a hilarious trend in gif. Currently, every "topic" thread is being treated as a request instead of a topic. Go ahead to http://www.4chan.org/bans and see for yourself. All three bans are just topic threads, not request. Nobody asked for the source of the gif, which was the entire purpose of banning request. So where does gif draw the line?
