like sure, once your party is level 14 or so it becomes kind of impossible to make them approach a dungeon in a conventional way but you also gain the ability to do stuff like naval combat or city sieges because the players can fly around and throw meteors at ships or battlements or whatever so pitting them against overwhelming odds is totally reasonable
of course there is the issue that martial classes like fighters and rogues don't get godlike magical powers so if you're planning on running a campaign that high you have to let everyone know in advance
