>>15768248For the first few weeks it was a containment board for "banter" in /pol/ considered too spicy for chuds.
>u mad wyte boi?>AFL>MADE FOR BIG BLACK COCKContainment failed of course and then we all set off to establish a board identity. What would we be known for? It was fun. Fun was definitely allowed no matter how cringe. We use to have boss raids with special extensions to calculate our HP and what not.
I think the weebs say it best with calling it chuni. We use to play pretend all the time and other anons would get in on it until it created actual drama.
Due to the persistently small nature of /bant/ the early days were really fast. We had people come and go all the time to contribute various things then disappear forever.
There was no board culture and no identity yet. We were all carving out a little plot to call home but so few would stay.
As the years have gone bye more people became anti-fun and more of /pol/ seeped in. Long gone are things like The day of the Frozen Lake and the Cool Cirno Club.
This use to truly be a place to kick back, relax, have fun and make some new friends.
It was something new but has since devolved into endless shitposting, womanlike infighting and at times almost feels like there's a select group of people who don't want anyone to post here.
/qa/ going down just brought more people into /bant/ but it's nothing we haven't seen before. There's a reason this place would never be deleted. It isn't anything like any other board and that's a great thing.
