>>1578749Manx, I'm not sure if the apology of some random Cirnofag is going to sway you at all, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I'm very, VERY sorry for what transpired yesterday. I admit that even with the false-flagging by Holland there were way too many duplicate threads near the end that were producing nothing but regurgitated material and taking up thread slots which though I never created (I was the one who attempted to set up a Cirno general with news on them but gave up after it had lower postership then some of the fishe threads) I kept bumped, whose only purpose was to slide /pol/-cross threads from the board: yes, slide them even though one could just as easily hide them, but I couldn't stand the thought of them taking root here after seeing their effect on /qa/ and /tv/.
What I originally wanted /bant/ to be was a place that could produce new original content, OC that other boards were unable to due to either being in a constant state of duress or being policed to the point that anyone who stepped out of line was swiftly silenced. For that reason, I tried my hardest to throw support to any artist that showed up on the board; encouraging words, bumping threads for an entire day straight, and volunteering myself for creative projects such as PixelCanvas and the 2*2chan Cup. Of course, one artist I didn't give enough attention to was yourself after making this lovely flag, and largely assumed that you and the rest of the people who posted Cirno would be largely in favor of any show of presence on /bant/, no mater how frivalous or pointless, which is another betrayal of what our goals on this board were: making sure our posts were of a higher quality then /qa/'s /ota/ crew.
Ultimately, I could have told them to stop and consolidate into a single thread, and I could have stopped bumping the duplicate threads and let them slide - no, I should have stopped it, but I didn't.
