it's idiotic, desu (and not just because d-fens is most likely a jew)
sure, his fall is made to be fun, but he still wrecks his family (most particularly his daughter: when she learns her father committed sudoku by cop on her birthday, she'll have an even worse life) and civilization as a whole
pendergast may be a cop (and thus, only degenerates would identify to him as well), but even if he decides the same day as d-fens, and the same thing (stopping to accept shit shoveled his way), he at least decides to do so by defending civilization, which is at least respectable
