The reason why the agency wasn't responding to my application was a clerical error which I had to phone them about. I'm going to enter their office with a double barrel.

Shotguns are easier to obtain. Also when they say they want a valid reason the response they want to hear is "It's for sport" or "It's for hunting." There are quite a few people with double barrels that shoot invasive species for extra government bucks.

same here. a lot of us build our own from about 30 dollars worth of black pipe and caps. Best part is, you don't need a permit or registration so long as you don't try to sell it.
