King in yellow was interesting although aside from nice prose there was lack of any useful concepts. Also... It seems that Chambers really loves this whole 'it was all a dream' thing...

God I hated it. The problem with first person narratives is that if you find the character insufferable you suffer for the entirety of the book. Doesn't help that the premise itself is nonsensical as well. Blegh...

On that we can agree. The only other one that came close was The Maker of Moons but the ending shat the bed so...
And even tho 'The Yellow sign' was suppose to be the main uhhh actor so to speak(of the whole book), it ended up being on par with the others really.
