According to Interfax-Ukraine, Ukrainian forces repelled a separatist attack on a checkpoint on the Krasnohorivka-Svitlodarsk road. The self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic reported that the Ukrainian forces attacked the checkpoint, killing "twenty-two militia and destroying two tankettes and an armoured carrier".[95] Both sides accused the other of attacking their forces.[96]
