how effective is duolingo?? i am an incel trying to learn german (no, this is not going where you think this is going) and all it seems to do is repeat the same 3 words for 1 hour until my brain forcefully forgets them because of just how annoying they became

as i said, i am an incel so speaking with a native is out of the question due to my retarded social skills, should i just man up and find an austrian gf to teach me her local dialect and then go from there or?? the fuck do i do? the language is fucked wtf even spanish seems easier
