I can barely remember how many threads on average I hide since I never keep track. Depends on the boards current environment so I'll just throw a safe number and say on average I hide 80-90 threads. I do remember the most threads I hid which was 130.

which boards are you on that permits you to filter that many of them? I can never stay on too many boards at the same time but that seems way too much for any number of multiple boards at each log in of sorts

if the number of hidden threads are so much that you can barely fit two pages of threads on viewable status its usually time to either dip from the board or else just try to kill some of them before watching some anime for the day

None, as I post in a diverse set of boards so it's a small task to filter, although some automaton tier posters make it easy to globally filter when a trendy word catches on. I just know what threads are worthwhile through the discipline of lurking in topic boards so I don't filter a lot threads.

Random boards are easiest to filter as for a board with lenient rules people don't really make much of it and just post the same habitual threads.

yeah, that's why i come back on occasion too. i guess in a way /bant/ really did become a discord server, didn't it? even /qa/ has accidentally integrated into it by posting the same recognizable stuff all the time.

I suppose yeah and even if its a bad thing being able to see some older posters every once in a while is so calming and nice. even if its transformed there is still a little fragment of what was once here which is why I still try and come through even if admittedly, rarely.
there is still a bit of magic here I believe with my heart, I can never escape this place and I wouldn't have it any other way even if its SHIT most of the time, applies to most of 4chizzle

to me that's part of the fun though, figuring out what changed since i was gone, who's new, who i can shit on, etc. it lessens that jaded feeling you get from browsing the board all the time.
