Google used to have an extremely potent reverse image search feature. I know because I used to use it every day on /a/, to find all kinds of manga based on single pages, even hentai. Then, about 3-5 years ago, they clearly purposefully destroyed this capability overnight and now it only gives retard answers like 'black and white photo' etc.
So, what happened here? Did Google intend to restrict easy access to information? Was it just to save computation / storage / money (not sure how algorithms work)? Some other reason?
