>>15849574and Pharisee contemporaries allowed for him to be executed by the governing organisation of the time. Jerusalem was saturated and people never had it as good as they had it under Roman rule, but Jesus saw all this bullshit and called them out on it. And then the fucker didn't even die and just walked through the town showing people where they put nails through his hands and feet, imagine fucking up so hard and then having some fucker who "is the son of God" just walking around telling people "kek lol, imagine".
Most religions, including Judaism and Islam have prophets that tell some kind of story like this which is ultimately people interacting on a plane in a universe trying to explain some of the mad shit they have been through and at the time, we referred to those things as "higher powers" and "Gods" because how the fuck else would you use language to explain shit that makes no sense: how could you not see some greater plan.
>How does it relate to the understanding of technology and knowledge in the time that it was writtenJesus did not wear time pieces. Jesus did not have GPS. Jesus did not have antibiotics. If you wanted to plan a party, you would have ask someone how was older and more experienced than you what the thought the weather was going to be like and on the day that you thought was going to be good, you'd call everyone and put out everything you had prepared. Comparing some people from 2000 years ago and seeing the same patterns today show that technology, no matter how advanced, still does not quell the retardation of man on itself. You stone your Jesus's and worship bullshit and "God" has gone from a concept you could be an active member of (i.e. in scripture they talk about "God" acting through people and things but for some reason thinking that you are not part of that process anymore and that God is some "sky daddy" is legitimate perversion of what scripture talks about. You can act in the name of the God of your choosing
