>>15840193The weird thing is that they are never actually hooked by the flesh or by algae growing on the shell, the hook is always clamped between the valves. And while i do mostly drag the lure near the bottom, cause i'm aiming for pike and perch, you would think that it's statistically unlikely that the hook would pass between the valves of a sitting snail AND it would also instantly close, but i just went for an evening walk and it happened again, literally on the first cast
