It does appear to me that they are more white than black but the intlligence increases are less than you would expect. One would expect them at least to be on par with american blacks (~30% euro mixed sub saharns). But of course, the horn has food problems too.
Now Im sure there are also certain tribes who avoided intermixing with darker skinned folks. I think that guy in your pic is like that.
The fact that they have horners listed under sub saharan africans kinda illustrates the problem. They are using them as a benchmark for 'black' without considering the significant mixture those people have from whties.
It seems to me that there has been selection for certain features such as the skull shape (intelligence, beauty) and teh skin colour (protection from sun)
