>>15886449>Hope you're reading quality stuff If you would consider it so, I suppose? I've still never touched any of the stuff that's universally accepted to be good, like the ones you listed. No idea what they're even about. Quite almost the only reads I've been compelled to go through were well-known war memoirs. I've just gotten kind of addicted to the personal descriptions and thoughts people have of whatever insanity they've witnessed with their time in a brutal conflict, and also the events that transpired themselves. It feels like watching Full Metal Jacket every time I'm reading one, lol, does that give off any sense? It's just simply cool and keeps me entertained, even if it's not something that'll elevate my thinking after I'm done, with it's absolute quality.
But I might move on to stuff of that sort once I feel jaded with what I have. Although I'm still not much of a reader at all, it's still hard for me to pick up even something I feel interested in, so, yeah, gonna be a good while before anything like that happens.
>instead of manga or anime or whatever passes for reading material these daysAh, well, lol, I wouldn't have anything like that open in class in the fear of someone taking a peek. Already incredibly private and paranoid with what I let people see. And what's more private, than a wall of text in whole another language than the people there know?
But some manga are still nice reads.
>due to mentall illnesses and social media addictionOh, sorry to hear that. But, however little of an amount 5 pages may be, it still shows that you're doing something that you want, even if only at that level at the moment. What's important is you're doing it at all. That's improvement no matter how you look at it, right? Pretty big one over nothing, also. So, good job on it already, take it slow if you have to. Hope you can keep it up, best of luck.
And, I don't wanna tell exactly where I live, but not there, no.
