I am a Christian. But I have to admit, as each day passes the more I feel like my faith is one giant schizophrenic episode of cope. Absolutely nothing in the core of the Bible reflects reality. Any other Christians struggle with maintaining faith while holding to their raw NS worldview? There seems to be genuine gap between reality and the Bible.
I'll give you a few examples of what in struggling with
1. Morality exuding from Creation vs Evolution. Evolution is just very evident, and so is it's resulting logical moral structures
2. Jesus's teaching. He promised an afterlife to losers of this life if they have a relationship with him and become virtuecucks. Sometimes virtue cannot save you, but violence can. Especially to those destitute and without resources.
3. Church History. Chuch history is one big clusterfuck and completely contrary to one would expect from the New Testament
