>>15933910mayhaps. my original concern was that i was going to bed at like 5:30 when i'll need to be waking up around 7 for school so it was sort of a worst case scenario. even if i fail to keep things in line over the next week so long as i'm not going to bed much later than 2 or maybe 3 everything will be manageable, so less time before school means less time to get out of sync in the first place
mixed to say the least, but that's to be expected honestly. the goal of removing dice entirely is a decidedly divisive move, all the boys tested versions that were doomed to be bad so that i could learn from them, and it's really hard to get people to be enthusiastic about anything other than d&d when that's what they're used to in the first place
my sister said the resource management stuff was stressing her out a bit, but that's also kind of the point in lieu of dice so i count it as a win and she couldn't give much more concrete feedback given she's not an experienced tabletop gamer
