>There are people who purposely raise their trucks even though it will wear their suspension out much quicker>There are people who don't realize that suspension jobs take fucking hours to do and are stupidly expensive and piss off mechanics because often times they lose money on those jobs.>h-how do t-they l-lose money retard? They're workingMost mechanics are paid by what's called flat rate. That means specific jobs are supposed to take specific amounts of time and how much you get paid depends on how fast you do it.
I.e. if you're paid $20 an hour, a job says it takes half an hour and you finish it in 15 minutes. You're still getting paid $10 for that job. If you finish it in an hour, you're still getting paid $10 for that job, you just lost alot of fucking money though.
Typically the longer the flat rate time is for something, it goes up exponentially almost. suspension jobs can sometimes take multiple days, despite the flat rate times saying something like 6 hours. If things go well, you might be looking at exactly 6 hours.

Oh, also, raising it makes it harder to put on a lift too, which also fucking sucks
