I've been using Linux Mint for a while and it's pretty easy. Crashes about as much as microsoft would, so I don't consider it that unstable.

on arch installing software is easy as shit and manjaro streamlines anything hard about arch
You can also create system snapshots to recover from in case something goes wrong after an update
My artistic friend who doesn't know shit about computers has been using it for years and didn't have any issues

arch only has a bad rep for newbies because you install it by the command line
manjaro has a graphical installer
