Every election has been rigged. The outcome is almost always known in advance, but sometimes the rigging isn't enough. Sometimes they are rigged by miscounting votes, but usually by simply telling the people who to vote for. The idea that most people are free thinking individuals who can vote in their interests or with their principles is a fantasy. Most people do not have original thoughts, and rely on authority to tell them what to do. Because of this, democracy is a sham, and you are ruled by an alliance of elites that can command or buy the media.
