I cannot feel anything but sympathy and pain for our brothers South of us. They've wanted nothing more than to achieve their own independence, getting abused and stopped every step of the way by foreign powers (and we're usually one of those powers). We should unite the Western hemisphere together as the cradle and maintainer of liberal democracy, but instead we just shit down on them. It's honestly pretty fucking stupid and a hilariously dysfunctional international policy that completely disrespects all of our own values of independence and liberty.
