i built some sob models a while ago but i messed up the primer and i can't be bothered stripping the paint off and redoing them

It's good for about a year at the start of every edition. This is currently the most bloated edition of all time and their new business model is apparently to encourage the competitive player to buy every army and juggle codexes. Hard reset soon and it'll be fun again for a time.

Put it on too thick? I drowned a squad of necron warriors in primer a while ago, just leaving them in Detol overnight and scrubbing them with a toothbrush took it all off no trouble.

Thank you! All I can see are the mistakes but this is only the third squad I've finished after not touching the hobby in ~10 years so I'm pretty happy with them.

9th ed hasn't really interested me but Kill Team 2021 has been pretty fun from what I've played

You either didn't warm the primer can up or the weather was too cold.

yeah i had one for a week before i returned it because i didnt have the room
really underestimated how much space they take because of all the prep/cleaning area you need
+plus the smell is poison so you have to do it next to an open window if you dont have a garage

I think it's down to the type or resin you use, more expensive ones aren't as bad IIRC, and there are water-washable ones now so you can just get a mop bucket and leave it outside when you're done to evaporate.
